Jennifer DiGennaro - Office Manager
Jennifer grew up in Strongsville, Ohio and has lived in Northeast Ohio her entire life. She attended Cuyahoga Community College and earned an Associates Degree of Applied Business with concentration in Business Management. After her "best and most difficult job in the world" - staying home and raising her three son's - Jennifer joined the Portman Mechanical team in June 2014. As Office Manager, Jennifer provides administrative support to our customers and staff. In her free time Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and travel.
Mike Platko - Service Manager and Lead Service Technician
Mikes been with Portman Mechanical since day one. He's genuinely the best service tech we've met . He's passionate about everything he does but his biggest passion is his family. Mike is Pictured with his son Evan. Mike just had his second Son, Logan - December 2015, with Jessika. Mike, Kevin, and Tim graduated high school together
Christopher Simmons - Service and Installation Technician
Christopher joined the Portman Mechanical team in January of 2018. In his free time he likes long walks in the woods, snowboarding, going to concerts, cooking and not talking politics.
Tim Portman - Sales and Installation Manager
Portman Mechanical is owned and operated by Tim Portman. Tim has been in the heating and cooling field since May 1999. Tim has an extensive back ground in the maintenance, repair, and replacement of all brands of heating and cooling equipment and the accessories to maximize your health and safety, comfort, reliability, and efficiency.
Tim prides himself on taking the time to listen to the home or business owners priorities, assess each job, and then share what the best system for their priorities as well as their budget

Kevin Kish - Lead Installation Technician
Kevin has been in construction since high school and was one of our go to referrals for roofing and general remodeling. Kevin is one of the hardest working guys I know. Tim's been encouraging Kevin to join our team at Portman Mechanical for years and in June of 2015 he became part of the team. Kevin is pictured with his son Nate. In his free time Kevin enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys camping, playing with his dogs, relaxing and working on his house.
Brandon Snider - Installation Technician
Brandon's been part of the Portman Mechanical team since February 2021. In his free time Brandon to unwind with some video games with friends or going to a coffee shop and walk through the metroparks when the weather is nice.

Our preferred equipment manufacturer is American Standard for Furnaces, Air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, thermostats, and humidifiers.
This picture shows a 96%, two stage, variable speed furnace sitting on a custom base, the indoor portion of the heat pump system, a custom return air elbow with turning vanes, and an offset directly above that. The elbow does not have a filter slot because it is secured to an Aprilaire whole house media air filter. This system also displays the second wind air purifier.
